Wellington's TSB Stadium, February 16; Auckland's Vector Arena, February 18.

More here (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/entertainment/news/article.cfm?c_id=1501119&objectid=10600148).

Well, that was underwhelming.

I think I'll wait until an act justifies the price.

Well, that was underwhelming.

I thought with another 2 announcements to go, this is the first BDO in ages that's looked promising (for me anyway).

Guess it depends on what you're into obviously, but the inimitable Dizzee Rascal (on the main stage no less), Muse, Mars Volta, Rise Against, Karnivool, Mastodon, Kora and Groove Armada (who'll no doubt do the live band thing) has definitely whet my appetite.

And then a month later, Faith No More rocking lil' ol' Aotearoa!

Wankers.

Wankers.

each to their own, I reckon Muse are crap live, because their music and his vocal style are quite intense, but their studio stuff is awesome!

The Vector Arena sucks big time for a rock venue and I will be hard pressed to see another band there.

Now if Faith No More were playing at the Powerstation....I would be all over it.

+1 Vector is shit.

Of that entire lineup, Groove Armada is the only band I'd consider going for, and I'm a bogan. Come on kids, get some grunt in ya.

Yeah, I agree that clubs are much better venues to see acts perform. However, I'm willing to sacrifice some fidelity and atmosphere in this instance — FNM don't visit these shores that often after all. Just gotta make sure I get a decent spot... ;)

Another 2 announcements yet. Rise Against and Mastodon would qualify as suitable bogan fare thus far. Karnivool also, although they're a bit more on the melodic mellow tip.

If Rise Against are suitable bogan fare then I must be something else.

Bogan fail.

You forgot Mastodon.
