Hi there all you wonderful people,

I know I've been a tad quiet of late and I apologize. But the 007 clan has been having some thinking to do, plans to concoct and dreams to foment...

Our wee angel is growing so beautifully (see attached pic), and hopefully, another one will be following in the not too distant future. So we have had to make a very sad decision: we are selling all our toys and working our arses off to get a house.

We've found the house...so now we need to sell the bikes :crybaby:

Here is the link to my steed

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/Sports/auction-244763430.htm

Please, if you are genuinely keen or know of someone who needs a great bike like this one, feel free to contact us through ph # supplied.

There will also be hubby's SV as well as another couple of goodies to come soon...we're just working on the ads now.

Hey, I'm not using them..........seriously though, good on you, it is a good time to take advantage of low interest rates etc and real estate isn't going to get any cheaper. Did my mexican accent come across as sleazy or sexy?

With you mister, always sexy :msn-wink:

But yeah, as much as we know that growing up is optional, I guess it has to happen at some stage.

Get a new bike after you've all settled down into your new home, because motorcyling is a way of life you never can escape!.
btw would you let your daughter jump on the back of a motorcycle with her boyfriend when shes a teen? probably not after the posts on this site lol!

Thank you kind sir...

Agreed...been on bikes since I was about 6 years old. It's in the blood.

If she's anything like her mother (as Karma dictates), then she won't be asking for my permission ...so instead, I'll teach her to ride and she can have her own bike. She already grins at the sound of V twins :2thumbsup

Thanks mate. I must admit, the hard decisions get a whole lot easier whenever I look at my baby girl.

That pic was taken at the Cold Kiwi a few weekends ago...she was all rugged up and loving the fresh air.

Wot she said!

I'm far too old for having more kids now. We're starting on the Grandkids with one aged 3,1/2 now.

Our eldest and her husband, with our grandson are trying to get their first home and it's not an easy road.

I sold my bike to get married back in '77 and always missed it. But here I am 32 years later and loving my C50T. Nothing beats seeing your kids grow up to adulthood and then seeing them having kids of their own. Make the most of bubs while she's young, and she's absolutely gorgeous!, 'cause before you can wonder where the time's gone, she'll be turning 30!

Good luck with the bike sales and house buying, Veronique! :niceone:
Although bikes are great, home and family are both more important, and you've obviously got your priorities firmly in the right order. Now is also a pretty good time to buy, as prices had dipped slightly, and interest rates definitely have.

We look forward to hearing news of your new home soonly!

(PS) Pity I'm not allowed more'n one bike, or I'd be all over your VTR! :(

Sorry to hear the bikes are going bye-byes.
As others have said get a mortgage while the int rates are low.
We've just dropped our rate from 8.8% to 5.5%, a massive savings.
And, once you get some equity then, more bikes may come... :)

I'm concerned that the Moto Guzzi may be on thin ice when our wee one is born and income drops...

And what a bargain you'd be getting! All joking aside, she is worth every penny, and whomever buys her will be thoroughly stocked they did.

And yes, will definitely post news of the house if we manage to get it...there will likely also be a housewarming party just for the KB crew

I don't despair...I know we will have more bikes in the future. It's just that I was stupid enough to get attached to that one...first real treat I ever bought myself you know?

Went without expensive makeup and suchlike to pay her off :eek5:

Sold pretty much everything to get my first house (managed to keep one bike), then they all came back in one form or another. Having a roof over your head and a legacy for your child is pretty important, the rest will come depending on how bad you want it to.

Selling my house on the Shore if your interested- you can get bikes in the lounge, trust me:lol:

Let me get this right - you're trying to sell two motorcycles by posting pictures of an infant?

Your nuts on a platter...and that'd be only for starters :devil2:

Got and appetite? I thought that went away with the pregnancy - but what main could possibly keep up with that kind of starter?

Medium rare soul?

Anyway - best of luck with it. That said, I have a feeling that in 13 years time you'll be regretting (at times) that you didn't go the other way ;)

Goes to show how much you know about marketing m'dear...the title said it was an appeal for attention and I got it, thank you very much ...Besides, I'm a proud mother and will use every chance I get to show off my wee angel, so bite me!

Always had quite an appetite, but never had any desire for souls...Gave mine away a couple of times though. Got to be careful doing that.

LOL...everyone told me that 12 years ago when I had my son, and I'm still waiting to regret it. No matter how hard it gets, I never have.

Indeed, marketing is one of those things I absolutely fail to understand - if commercials piss me off, surely they must piss everyone else off too. (This is of course in regards to commercials in general - not your "appeal for attention".)

It's ok As long as you use your soul to buy something good (like a motorcycle or some booze)

Yes yes, but things will be different with a girl I am sure. You just have to make sure to raise her as a tomboy and you might stand a chance. (Pink isn't the right way to achieve that - unless you are hoping to over-saturate her system in order to provoke a long-term loathing of said colour.)
