Had to share this with you all….
Spent 2 hours this morning trying to order some CD’s from the library. Kept keying in my card number and password but the bastard thing kept getting denied.
Been through every password I have ever owned, possessed or nicked from people. Got to the point where I was banging the keyboard and swearing like a trooper.
“For fuck sake, I’ve got a busy day today and don’t need this shit” I am saying to myself, getting the picture here……
So, I ring the missus, get her out of the sack and start quizzing her on passwords and all that kind of shit, last thing you want to hear when you’re still half asleep. As you can imagine, she is not happy but tries to help gawd bless her.
I have a theory that the library server might be cattled so she fires up the PC at home, opens up the library website, keys in the details on her card and it works all hunky dory.
So now I am right fecking annoyed with all this. Mrs Max asks me to read over my number to her and she will try it from home.
So I do…..
It all goes quiet at her end….
Then she says “that don’t sound like a library membership number”
And that’s when I realise I have been trying to book some CD’s on my fucking Subway card for the last two hours. Phone clicks off and I am both in the domestic poo as well as being No 1 fuckwit of the week….
At least I’m trying to eat fresh, eh….and I’m no way near as big as that Jarred porker…
