All round great bike, comfortable commuting or touring, after-market twin carbon exhaust system..sounds like a bigger V twin, which makes other VTR250 owners generally turn green with envy :2thumbsup
Ideal as a first bike for anyone including ladies of petite stature. I'm just under 5.8" and have both feet comfortably on the ground.
Very economical and reliable.
Has been well looked after and is in excellent condition. I am the first owner in NZ and yes, I was gentle :D
This is a very reluctant sale so no time wasters please.
Willing to accomodate mechanical checks within reason, however no test rides sorry.
Feel free to PM me if you want more details.

Oh plenty of interest alright...just not with cheque books yet.

Eeeeek! 21,000k on a 1997? I bought a 2003 VTR250 in 2006 and slammed 20,000km on it in only one year!
Awesome little bike. Great fun in Auckland traffic, the twisties, open road (rode it to Napier and back once) and even a blast on a track with lots of corners on (Taupo).
Good luck with the sale.

She only had 9000kms on the clock when I got her, so did quite a bit of riding in the first year...but of course for the last year, I've been pregnant, so that tends to slow the riding down eh

yeah mate...need a house for the family now, and unfortunately, that means the toys have got to go. Sucks the big kumara :(
Good luck with the sale - sad you have to sell both
Cheers mate.

Keep in mind it will be a temporary thing and that saying goodbye to 'these' current beloved toys will be helping to get you into your home.
Just start dreaming and thinking about what bikes you will have later on one day down the track and you'll be back one day
BUY these bikes someone!

Righto...since ACC is just hell bent on making life difficult for us all, I've lowered her to sweeten the deal a tad.
