For those who don't know already, my bucket is up for sale
http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=108936

I've decided to pack it in.
My health is not up to it unfort so I have to think of the little family that's on it's way.

I'm still going to run (not ride) the next event at the Slipway, this being the last points meeting on the 11th (weekend after next).
Also there is a one hour bucket-only event in the designing at the moment for Kaitoke 22nd November which will also be the prize giving for the year. I'll also run that one and stick to my word.
Skunk will take over as Wellington Kart bucket representative.

I've really enjoyed this year and getting the Kaitoke Kart track underway once again. Everyone seems to appreciate racing there so it's all been worth it :)
Thanks for all of your support.

Gutted for ya dude, but end of the day family and heath come first and its good to see you will pass on a great wee bike rather than hiding it away under the house. Good luck with the sale!

Plus one. That's got to be a hard choice to make, but at the end of the day it looks like there was only one logical outcome.

Tis a shame Chris. But you have come back to buckets before and there is plenty of time to come back to buckets again one day.

We should be o.k. in Skunks good but troublesome hands. Don't forget the smell :eek5:

Yep sad news indeed, but I'm sure once the new bubs is old enough you'll find your way back to us:whistle:
Like we've said before, thank you for being the one to get off your bum and organise getting Kaitoke back for Wellington Bucketeers whilst the rest of us were still just talking about it and wishing. I know that there are a few of us who are dedicated to making sure we keep it so when you do come back it's still there for you to enjoy.
You won't be a stranger anyway, NWM hardcore.

Hey Chris, really gutted to hear you are leaving buckets! Always good to see you there and race you. If you ever want to come give my bike a thrash in B grade you are welcome to do so. You have helped me out quite a few times. Hope to see you back on the track at some stage in the future mate. Good luck with the family!

Cheers

Hey Nudey

Sorry to hear that your health is not good and absolutely you must take care of yourself and your lady and babe.

Don't think of it as an ending as others have said you'll be back and of all the reasons to take a break health and family have to be some of the most valid and undeniable ones. Big part of why I haven't raced this year is because my boy has needed me and racing a couple of days every month on the weekends is not really fair on him when I work fulltime also.

While I haven't been inclined to even bother to suit up this year there is always next year, or perhaps the next...:shifty:

Anyway  to you and Bridgey

Go on then Chris, fuck off and leave us then...

Jeeze, you come along, find a great track and do all the spade work then piss off and leave us too it.

What a wanker. Don't think for one minute you won't be welcome anywhere near us either.

Nah worries, Sketchy and my mate is not far from fixing his CNC-Router, if you know what I mean ;)

A bit of bad coding will root a CNC machine, but a sledgehammer will do in a pinch.

You should see some of the crashes we have had at work.. thankfully none of the major ones have been mine!!!

A "0' in the wrong place and it may equal a $20,000 repair bill!

Thanks for all your hard work Chris. Getting Buckets back in at Kaitoki was a mammoth effort and will be appreciated form a long time to come.

Heath is very important and hope you can find away back onto the track at somestage.

Cheers Rich

:crybaby:Sad to hear your leaving.:crybaby: Your support, effort and enthusiasm will be missed.:bye:

No wonder Skunk is grumpy with having to fill such mammoth shoes.

Your always welcome to take one of my buckets out when you want to blow off some steam.

You are truely a motorhead :headbang:er that deserves a :first: trophy

Err, I've got news for you there. The grumpiness doesn't come from Chris having a break of indeterminate length.

Getting the Kaitoke Kart Track on your calendar is a coup and it's up to you guys to not lose it.

You could present the Cattermole Cup to the winner of upcoming non-points meeting in recognition.

Eh.

Thanks George :)

The Cattermole Cup, eh Jim?
Better make sure it doesn't leak

Seriously, I've had a ball of a year and it's so great we have that awesome kart track now.
You guys just...LOOK AFTER IT !!!!
