I’m fairly new to Kiwi Biker but Just wanted to say that ZX6-R’s rule!, I’ve just bought a 1995 model ZX6-R after wanting one for the last 14 yrs, my mate bought a brand new one in 95 and after riding it I’ve wanted one ever since, I now have one in green and white and absolutely love it!!!!
Sad to see my written off ZX10 go, but the insurance paid for the 6R so I’m happy!:2thumbsup

Always nice to get hold of that bike you've been wanting for a long time.
A question about your blog:
The ZX10 is no more, dropped it off its sidestand and insurance wrote it off
Where'd you drop it, down a flight of stairs?

It was so dumb, was pi##ed off with telecom, in a foul mood, stopped to open my gate and wasn't concentrating when i put on its stand, tried to save it and ended up holding parts of the screen and top fairing!
i also bent the clip on and cracked the side panel.
i didn't think parts would be that hard to come by but its almost impossible to get them, most ppl that had them 2nd hand seem to have biffed them by now!

Cool!
Its actually quite sad, 14yrs ago when the ZX6-R first came out I said to myself, I’ve got to have one – in green white and purple, I then went out and bought one piece race leathers in those colours waiting for the day they would match my ZX6, now 14 yrs later and the leathers a little worse for wear, they do!!!!

 Good one mate. I had one of the first GPZ6Rs in 86 brought it back from Singapore. I LOVED it.
Was deverstated when I hit that dam truck on my ZX9R last year.
Still think they are the greatest bikes made.

I've got a full titanium exhaust - headers and all, and a set of race cams (along with heaps of other parts... tank, wheels, etc etc etc) for a 95/96 ZX6R. Give me a yell if you're keen.

Its a muzzy system, like this: http://www.muzzys.com/catalog/titanium.html
This is the actual bike / exhaust, taken a few years ago: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?p=702431#post702431
It does have a couple of imperfections. If you'd like i can take some photos etc or let me know if you're in Taupo anytime soon.

Yep i have a fibreglass seat cowl, its in need of a jolly good cut and polish (its scratched!) Comes free with the pipe or $50 by itself.
I've listed the pipe (pics of cowl too) here: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showpost.php?p=1129446492
