....take a look at this 8 litre jobbie!

Just found this photo in the International Express newspaper! I recognise the guy's name. Same guy that built the V12 Kawasaki and a V8 something else - videos on YouTube. I think he's an engineer in the nuclear industry. Nice bit of engineering for the American:whistle: market

WOW! I bet that consumes a wee bit of gas.

Imagine trying to park that porker, or do a u-turn. I guess you could aid it by getting the back tyre spinning up...

Makes one recall the caution given to Spitfire pilots when they first came on the scene...

"Injudicious throttle usage may result in unintentional barrel-roll."

"Ten cylinder V10 8000cc".... NAAAH - you don't say! Never knew a V10 had 10 whole cylinders....

Hope that wasn't done like in the photo - with no upper body protection at all, and no gloves. 8L V10 with no gear, no thanks!

WOW! I bet that consumes a wee bit of gas.

Well seeing as the '09 Viper is EPA rated at 13mpg city/22mpg highway (and everybody knows that those ratings are wildly optimistic (Highway is probably closer to the city mpg...) and looking at the size of the tank (given that it will have quite a big indent underneath to accomodate the induction system) I'm just wondering how far it would go on a tankful.....

For once i don't think this bike has been built with sensibility in mind (what bike is mind you) looks to me like its a bit of a Look at me and what i can do jobbie... i mean... if he wanted a bike that could do those speeds and be usable he would have built a motogp rep .... or simply bought a hayabusa, zx14, YamaR1 , gsxr thou... list goes on!

Good on him, it's dudes like this that keep back yard engineers chasing dreams.

Pretty impressive but for pure engineering the V12 Kawasaki he built is better (IMHO) Details here: http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/features/v12_custom_kawasaki_2300cc/index.html

Yes he's certainly a clever bugger, having seen the KH1000 4cylinder 2 stroke (H2 750 triple based) and KZ1600 V8 (Z1000 based) KH666 (5 cylinder 2 stroke based on a KH400) and others. he seems to specialise in building 5 & 6 cylinder 2 stroke Kawasaki's. I think I also recall a 4 cylinder Yamaha RD based bike too.
