These are the things i would have done to clear a jump like that.
Step one: Sight the jump work out the preload timming
Step two: Preload the shocks before the upface this means you have control of what kick the jump has on your bike. (little jumps like that kick you forward every time)
Step three: Roll the bike over and lean as far rearward as possible just as the front wheel is about to leave the ground. Rolling the bike over transfers the kick into a whip movement insted of going over the bars like in the vid. If you dont roll the bike enough the bike will hit you in the arse so be ready for that.
Step four: Once in the air look forward, sight the landing and adjust the bikes angle to suit.
This works for me.

He let off the gs just before he launched. You have to keep the power on. especially on a 4 stroke.
My opinion is pretty much shit as I'm useless at jumping anyway!

Nah, he managed to do a trick called a 50% front flip.
Great success!!!

maybe if he had stayed on the bike and grabbed the front brake he could of bounced the bike right over!!

iT'S GREAT TO SEE SOME GENUINE STUPIDITY.
Most of the accidents you see are set up to look spectacular. This guy is a noob having a go at something he should work up to.

His riding postion as he hit the upramp was fine, he may have hit a kicker wtih the back wheel, and it sounds like he got of the gas as he left the top.
If there is a kicker you need to have your weight back a bit more and keep the power on to soak it up . getiing off the power as you leave will drop the front end , its important to keep some power on as it helps keep the bike level. If you need to bring the front down for the downramp just pull in the clutch and tap the rear brake .

i think it was a slow kicker jump he hit way to fast, and he was not ready when it kicked, he needed to be way further back on the bike and tensed ready to get bucked forward,
basically, he ran out of talent

His support crew only had "oh fuck" to say about 3 times.
Any westie would have been saying "mean crash, primo, do it again but keep it pinned":wari:
