View Full Version : Picture Game: Where is this picture of your bike and a landmark taken?
Conquiztador
4th October 2009, 14:18
Was sitting here inside while the water is pissing down outside. And was thinking bout the places I been with my bike.
That was when I came up with this idea of a competition:
Post a pic of a NZ landmark, and have your bike/a bike, in the pic. The first one who get it right will get a green bling and the right to post the next one.
So the simple rules:
- Need to be in NZ.
- There has to be a bike/your bike in the pic.
- You need to be able to keep an eye on the replies after you have posted so there is no big holdup.
- The first one to get it right gets a green bling from you, and the right to post his/her own one. But they have the right to pass and someone else will then be able to post a pic.
NOTE: If you embed a pick to the posting from your private album, then only your frinds can se it (just learnt that!)
Simple enuf?
So to show the way I start:

Yup this is 'Armchair tagorama' for bad weather/ for those with little time to spare/ for those laid up after accident or illness etc. I think it's a pretty cool idea myself, plenty of room for all Tago variations I reckon

Well see... no it is not Tag-O-Rama.
Here why not:
- There is no need to jump on a bike and find a "Tag" (Therefore the Tag part falls off)
- The only "O" here would be when you see the scenery and go: "OOOOHHHH!!!"
- Not sure exactley what "Rama" means, but not able to find anything that could be classified as Rama here. (Might be something Indian??)
- You can grab a pic from 20 years ago (We old cunts have heaps of them...) and use that pic here.
- The pic can be from anywhere in NZ (and I am sure some will include pics from overseas too. Might already be one or two??) so it is not specific to a group from a specific city/location.
- You could even photoshop your bike on to a nice backdrop of a bunch of whales at Kaikoura and be fine here!
And as mentioned: This can be done from the sofa on a rainy night, and even while drunk!
I like the idea. But you would expect that. It was mine... ;)
