Fatt Max

So anyway,
Stuck for something to do today cos the weather was crap, so decided to take mini Max to the model enginneers expo in Mt Wellington.
Yeah I know, not a real bikey thing to do, standing around looking at steam engines and all that but the wee man was loving it.
Anyway, tucked away in the corner of the room was a great little model of a 1960 BSA Gold Star, fantastic detail right down to the pipes and cables.
It took the bloke that made this a year to build and he was 90 years old at the time. He even moulded the tyres and upholstered the seat.
The cellphone picture does'nt do it justice really but it was great to see, should have been centre stage really. Now the wee man wants to make a model copy of my bike....jeez, he should get out more, eh
