Just a gentle cruise up to Wairoa for a picnic on the riverbank.
Depart Bayview BP 11 am.
Please be gassed up and ready to go at 11...don't forget to pay for your gas :Pokey:
If you wanna stand around and talk shit, be there earlier!!!
We will stop at Putorino for a regroup.
Suitable for learners and less confident riders...we will not be hooning it and will have a TEC.
Cardies are welcome, of course!
If the weather turns to crap, we will reschedule for another weekend.

Yeah sorry mate. We had thought to make it Sunday, but we are expecting visitors (with snow ploughs) who could be seriously put out by that.
Looking at the (expected) weather...we might have to twist the guests' arms. A little.

We can always head up the Taupo Rd on Sunday, Wickle. Escort our visitors out of town...
You'll prolly still need snowploughs, newspapers, Swandris and greatcoats!

Just copied this of the net..

During Friday night snow is expected to lower to about 600 metres in the central
North Island and the ranges of Hawkes Bay. Snowfalls of 10 to 15cm may
accumulate above 700 metres during Saturday morning.Note these anticipated
snowfalls are much less, and not as low as those experienced earlier this week.
However snowfalls are likely to affect all higher raods in the central North
Island including the Desert Road and the Napier Taupo road.
