After some new gauges for my bike, really like some of the http://www.motogadget.de/en/frameset.html stuff.
Anyone in NZ sell them?
Are there anyother brands to look out for?
I want a digital speedo with analogue display, RPM to 20 000 but not essential.
Thanks,
Rm

Not likely, specialised and expensive. Some really nice gear though.

I am looking at starting up some kind of business, I wonder how much people would want to pay for that sorta thing, custom bike seen isn't massive in NZ and $1000 for a speedo isnt really what people wanna pay :P

Have a gander at the ones like the AIM dashes.

I had an opportunity a few years ago to have some OLED digital dashes made, but it didn't work out, as there were some development hold ups, and the NZ market's too small (although I did have lots of potential US buyers).
Unless stuff's cheap knock-offs made in China, $1000 is kinda the going rate for a something specialised like this.

+1 for the display in mirrors. I'd buy them if they work for my bike.

Nek Minute.... not in business anymore.
That's either proof that the market is too small in New Zealand, or something else ragged went down. Ouch.

Deus as it was no longer exists, the custom bike building shop got moved to York Street in Newmarket.
I think they still have some stock of custom parts they used to sell. Go and ask, they don't have them on display but I enquired about a few SR500 bits a while back. If you email the workshop they might be able to help.
They use Motogadget clocks on a lot of their bikes so they may still import them.

Its all good
I've got the dash, motoblaze & Ice with a flasher relay direct from the website... last part of the work will be having a mounting dash made in CF to match other work.. some powder coat work and new 954 nissin calipers and I've finished this 5yr ball ache of a project :woohoo:
It looks and sounds brilliant whilst being ridiculously quick about the hills, absolutely flies along.
Still there will always be little bits to fix and improve. Ideas and suggestions of class would be gratefully accepted.... Not sure I should invite thid upon myself
