So I took my bike to the Wellington MC workshop for the first time this morning, and I came away actually feeling like it was money well spent. The bike rides 10x better, the service went above and beyond what was required; overall a painless process.

Not sure how much it is usually, but I paid $400 which they told me was a special for this month.
