I am only over for a few weeks and won't be able to attend, but I know that Backfires parents will be dropping flowers at the place on the Southern Motorway where Backfire died when he was cut in half by the Wire Rope Safety Barrier, I know they will be doing this on the 20th Oct, a few have stated nothing is happening as a protest over the Wire Rope Safety Barrier issue, seems to me the more people who leave flower at the spot where backfire died will direct attention to the barriers, I am not sure what time they will be dropping the flowers of at the spot but easy enough to find out.
