There is info on their website but it's a bit confusing as in on one page of the site it says it's synthetic based but when you click on that link it takes you to the full detail which list it as mineral based. :pinch:

As far as I am aware it's still mineral based, heaps of people use it and it's fine with a wet clutch. :D

Castrol dont do synthetics, even synthetics are refined mineral
refer court case Mobil vs Castrol
Castrol argued that refined mineral oils are infact synthetic........Mobil challenged this in court (Mobil is the world leader in synthetic PAO oils) and Mobil lost the case............Castrol now have the mandate from the USA courts to pull the wool over peoples eyes.

"Mobil Oil Corporation, maker of Mobil 1, "Worlds Leading Synthetic Motor Oil," "
That is from the link, which does appear to be an Amsoil site... I guess if your competitors are saying it (even if they do stick it in quotes)...
Edit: Although upon further reading it doesn't seem to really mean much, either way they're still using chemical reactions to control the content of the oil so I don't really know that it matters all that much.

Its all in the Molecules. Synthetic molecules are identical, Mineral isnt they are all sorts. Identical synthetically design molecules for engine all are the same size, this means every aspect performs better than mineral, for example
Lower Friction
Better energy savings
Better oxidation stability
Better viscosity range
BETTER POWER !
All of the above is a taste of the advantages.
End of the day Synthetic cannot be beaten.........period
Buy Mobil 1....worlds leading synthetic oil ..........CHUR !:2thumbsup

No guarantees on that, but lower friction etc ,means less resistance......................more speed
