This has been posted on here SO many times (and listed on TardMe even more times).
It's also been through several incarnations - at one stage it was a drag bike with wheelie bar.

Seen this on Trademe a few times now, and every time I ask myself, why?
Each to his own I guess, but seems an odd choice for the chosen mods. Seems like theres not too many takers for it.....

Many reposts are telling that it's not selling well... I wonder why...

That thing must be scarey as fuck to ride:argh: Wind open the throttle(starts wheel spinning with the awesome lack of rear suspension) then the NOS comes in and spins more (going sideways by this stage) go off the gas and try and recover with those great bars that will give such nice control, then use the front brakes and the bars bend forward ,you go over/thru the bars and ram your chin into the road (still looking really cool tho since your wearing your best and most shiny chrome German helmet:stupid:

That thing is seriously weird. The rake angle of a sports bike mixed with ape hangers can't be safe. Then throw in NOS for good measure. I'm sorry, but what kind of plonker puts NOS on a bike?

.....does it come with a nice chrome German helmet????
If the Italians were to do a remake of 'Easy Rider".......called...

Starring Alexi Sayle as Mussolini.

And once you get over the initial viewing it is kind of cool in a 'fuck-you-conformists' way.

met the owner at the night drags, awesome guy that makes a living from rebuilding insurance writeoffs, and builds........choppers and other custom bikes(mx endurance, etc). Seems the wreckers were the only people interested in the Ducati, but he thought "I haven't owned one of them, parts sure are pricey, just build a chopper, strap on some giggle and I'm off!" not a bad performer (even though I beat him on the dial in).
to be honest not a bad end for a mediocre bike, underpowered, cheaply built, and really is a poor mans Duck (though probably more reliable than a 4 valve Ducati). Anyway if it makes you so angry, PM me I've got his number. I could help you broker a deal to 'save' the monster, and while we are at it I've got a list of about 100 other bikes that are in need of rescue whether it be a poxy bucket racer to a hardtail Harley, I just hope that your wallet is as big as your mouth (and thats pretty big!).

The amount of time it's been listed on trademe you'd think it'd be a better use of time to just slap on some clip on bars and be done with it.
Cruisers aren't sportsbikes and sportsbikes aren't cruisers.

Got to say I agree, regardless of the sellers passion for choppers it must be getting obvious there aren't a lot of takers for that style out in bike buyer land, especially the few looking to buy a Ducati.
But hey, it's his bike, his money going on TM ads and ultimately his choice whether he sells it like that or makes it more mainstream, so whatever spins your wheels I guess.

I would have thought more like lift kitting a Ferarri and taking it off the road...
