To the cage with the "bykemad" licence plate I saw this morning in West Auckland:
1 - thanks for cutting me up by pulling out of a sideroad on a bend into my path. Luckily it was raining making it easy for me to cope with your idiotic actions. There was no traffic behind me, but thank god you shaved microseconds off your commute eh?
2 - if you are that "bykenmad", shouldn't you be on a bike, you wannabe?
Any one else seen ironic behaviour from those who presumably should know better?

Must be real special dude, last time I checked you can only put 6 characters on a car plate, and only 5 on a bike

RROF (roadracingoldfart) What I dislike is accusations made by people hiding behind nom de plumes. The first post ever on kiwibiker by Joanna makes accusations, does not provide any detail, and comes from an anonymous accuser. Yes, I use a nom de plume, but I give my identity away by saying that my identity is my Reg no. I am Warren New, My car reg no is BYKMAD.
Yep its him all right!!

Warren can be found at all AMCC events at Puke. his car is always parked by Jennian homes. He is the guy with one arm that is a bit fucked.
I'm sure it was just a moment of poor judgment which we all have from time to time. Get over it.

Yea, Warren has been donating his time to motorcycle sport back when Moses rode for John Player Special.
I find it VERY unlikely that it was deliberate.

Always keen to expand my kiwibiker experience, I thought I'd have a go at a thread dredge.
Anyway, just like to add that I rode part of my journey home yesterday evening behind bykmad and.......
Well, nothing really, it was completely without incident. So there!!!

Hey I really sympathise with you on this, someone pulling out on ya when conditions are crappy is really NOT what ya want!
But I am reluctant to join in on the lynching and crucifixtion of the car driver cos if it was raining he really may not have seen you...
Whenever I am in my car I try to keep an eye out for bikes and even I have pulled out on a bike... I was horrified when I realised what I had done. I looked both ways and just did NOT see the bike...it happens. Fortunately there was no collision.

Bring it on ! LOL.
Oh and FYI...the bike that was practically invisible to me didn't have its head light on, not that I'm excusing myself. I am merely pointing out that sometimes for whatever reasons a bike can be hard to see...
I have had plenty of cars pull out on me but long ago I learnt to expect the inexpected and so when i see a car waiting to turn I fully expect it to turn into my path...that philosophy has kept me upright and alive .

Did he wave?
I drive a ute around town during the day, and have often waved to bikers when driving on four wheels. You ought to see the looks you get, "What's that cager doing waving to ME?"
Today I was at the head of a line of cars and slowed and flashed my headlights to a biker coming the other way and indicating to turn right so that he could turn right ahead of me. I think he almost died of surprise, he turned into the side street on the right of the dividing strip - going the wrong way down the street.
I think I'll just stop being a biker when driving 4 wheels and revert to being a cager.
