I'm getting in early so you all know what is going on!

It’s time to start getting ready for the second and third rounds of the AMCC Summer Series on the 12th and 13th of December. Yes that’s right there are two fabulous days of racing back to back at Pukekohe Park.

Entry forms will be out soon.

Scruinteering is between 8 and 9.30. To ensure riders are on the track shortly after 10 there are no exceptions to the 9.30 cut off time.

Riders brief will be at 9.45. All riders due out in the first practice session need to come to the riders brief dressed and ready to go out.

Although the rain put an end to the last round pretty early, we had a great day. Riders were on the track at 10.05 for the first practice round! Just remember though, we are not allowed on the track prior to 10am due to the ponys! :nono:

Can’t wait to see you all there!!!! :niceone:

I must say AMCC have certainly got their act together in a big way this Protecta series, well done. Shame the weather was such a bitch for RI.

I'll be there at 2/3 cheering from the sidelines for sure.

I think it's due to a number of new people on board, working in conjunction with the experienced people already involved. Whatever the reason, it's good news for all racers.

Shame I don't do it anymore :(

See you all tomorrow. Don't be late cause Queen Track Bitch - aka me - will be out there yelling at y'all again.

We desperately need people to help tie the bails together as well. So if you can spare some time to help ensure we get away on time that would be much appreciated.

Well here's my brief one!!

Got there nice and early and jockyed for position near a power point;

This will be my first 'proper' race for over 12years so entred clubmans to see if I could still cut the mustard.

All set up and looking good courtesy of my sponsor (Kea Campers).
Went out for practise, spent two laps scrubbing in some tyres and put in a couple of quicker laps to get a grid position...........pole position!! Fook!!

1st race; Off the line nice and clean and into the lead, put my head down and just put in some consistant laps. Bike felt great, only the third time its been ridden in anger and every lap it felt better and better. I won, by quite a bit. Now making mental note to go up a class next round.

2nd race missed the call for the dummy grid (doh) along with about 4 others!!! Started in about 6th of the dummy grid, by the end of the first lap I had got to 2nd. I cought him at Jennian and could have gone by through the chicane but waited untill the hairpin (safer) out braked him into the hairpin (ain't slipper clutches the biz) taking the tight line, headed for the first left, short-shifted into 4th then bang! had my right hand clipon taken off as the second place dude tried the pass. Down I go, bike turns hard right into the barrier......all over rover!! Too much damage to fix at the circuit (quite alot of damage actually) so the bike is in Motodynamix's hospital (thanks Shaun), my leathers are with Kerry at MSW and a new helmet is on its way from the states and I'm left nursing some bumps and bruises. Fookin expensive this racing milarky.

Oh, the dude that took me out had a nasty looking blood blister on his little pinky coming and a couple more bins to add to his tally over the weekend.

Formula Auckland for me from now on, my lesson well and truly learnt.
