Thanks for the good info.
Did you try them on before you bought them?
I'm a bit funny about boots, they really do need to fit well.
There's more to it than just size.

Why the bloody hell you walking in MC boots? Your bike break down a lot? :)
I walked around Hampton in my boots. It wasn't bad to start with but bloody killing me by the end. Blisters from Africa (not that I know why they would be from Africa). But they ain't made for walking so I sucked it up.

Bought a pair of these myself about a week ago. They're pretty comfy (were quite a tight fit to begin with but are loosening with use). Looking forward to testing their waterproofness, which is the main reason for upgrading from my old steelcaps.

if its too hot for a leather jacket a cordura wont help...except for the vents, leather breates a bit cordura doesnt unless you get the breatable type but even then cordura feels more "clammy" than leather.I am gonna get my leather jacket altered to have a thin liner but add a thermal liner for winter.I already have a two position zip(jacket made Leda Leathers)

:2thumbsup goodstuff felix52 - to each his own ay. So many brands, styles blah blah around-slightly tight -totally agree - all new shoes/boots have to be worn in and everyone will have their own preference of choice. Im also getting another pair - SIRENS from a seller in trademe. Bit more costly @$249 but 2 pairs will be what I need and I like the looks of them ;)

Wait till it rains hard then see if boots are waterproof?Have tried pairs from $130 - $570 but rain eventually wins over boots that are now commonly made in China.Ended up buying a pair of $40 spool over boots(similar to rain off overgloves).Never had a problem since in heavy rain.No matter how expensive boots are,or quality of leather,it can only soak up so much before letting water through.

Check out www.1tonne.co.nz
The width of the boots are a standard fit. So if you fit most boots, you should fit ours.
They can be a little stiff to get on when new but they do wear in. Cheers.

i have a pair of 1tonne boots and i have real wide feet. cant wear jandals because my paddles hang over the edges wide. there are only a few sorts of running shoes i can use because my feet are so wide. i find the 1tonne boots pretty good, they did take a few wears before they were stretched out properly and i still get a slight ache if i have them on for too long but i've found them good value overall.

Hi. Yes we have found that people with very wide feet can have a problem but as you have noticed they do stretch. Cheers.

Howzit > gunrunner... sorry with the lately pics... these are my hubbys pair, he`s selling them on Trademe @the mo`. As for `how wide` - his are sz 9s -and were a good fit. Youre best bet is to take the advice of the kber > atothek who has the same prob as you. My hubbys only selling these cos our kids gave him a pair of HD boots for xmas other than that he was sweet with these, Im still using mine.

Postive customer comment re 1tonne boots. Recently replaced by 4 year old pair which had done their job in an off but sadly where no longer waterproof.
Got a different style pair, prompt delivery but regrettably they had a manufacturing defect and a front panel on one boot parted company within a week.
Solution: Rang 1tionne and no fuss or bother replacement pair on the way the same day.
Great customer service people.

Bugger, just noticed one of mine has a tiny crack in the leather where the bend from foot to toe runs (?).
I've had them for a couple of years now and probably haven't looked after them all that well.
Even so they were waterproof in the rain last Saturday.
