hi all, i'm off to work in afghanistan for a while.

going to miss you cunts.

will have internet there so will drop in and report on riding in afghanistan if i can sort a bike there, otherwise will just drop in and post crap as usual.

going to miss the group rides. hope to be back for CK next year if i can wing it.

750 Camelha is the bike of choice over there Adam, watch out for pre 90's models, they tend to use alot of water :cool:

Not too far from the truth...It's a bit too far south for my liking. Hope staying with the Brits might make it a bit safer than being seen with the Yankees. Best of luck. DRESS FOR DUST. Heaps of it. If it's not dusty, it's muddy. Also not so high, so not as hideously cold in the coming winter.

It's one of the most beautiful places on Earth, make sure you don't pay for that beauty. The people are NOT Arabs. I wouldn't as much as shit on the average Arab. These people are something else. Get to know them, appreciate the way they live. Don't ever trust them, they don't feel obliged to honour agreements with a non-believer. Take your favorite music with you. And a good camera. Keep warm. Take up smoking if you don't already...
