I am in Invercargill at the moment on business, I came down yesterday through central via Tekapo stayed in Cromwell. Then down through Queenstown to Invers. I will head north to Dunners next then back up the coast. The weather has been fantastic! Only one problem, I have toooo much metal around me!! IF ONLY I WAS ON MY BABY!!!! Before the end of the year I would be keen to do a ride like this in a weekend, stay in Queenstown or something like that?? There are some fantastic roads down here and would be heaps of fun. Maybe could leave on a Friday and make it a 2 nighter. If anyone is keen let me know, or your thoughts on this forum would be welcomed!!

F**k yes it is, oh well, I'm going to the coast for labour weekend and really want to go south. If anyone not going on the KB Rally, welcome to join me.
P.s Gorons are awesome!!! I'm open to other places to stay though. And if can't get any support from anyone for this weekend, I will change.

Keen as for a road trip . I'm on holiday most of that period of time so very flexible. But there is a few rallys on too. Make sure ya try for kb rally , chance too meet kber's south island wide . Think 3 dayer is better, stuff the rush rush stuff, nice to lay in the sun sometimes and watch the world go round for half an hour. coast sounds good , central, via northern southland , back thru alex and back up loop? east coast is tad boring from dunedin.

O.k cheers for that, perhaps you are right. Might be better to go on a Friday, I am keen to ride the rd from cromwell to Queenstown, maybe then double back and go through Alex as you suggest.
