Righto, Work is on a slow ebb, The oldboy who owns the company is heading for retirement and I have 2 kids to feed and a wife who likes jewellery.

Can relocate myself anywhere around the lower North island. Personally I'd go as far as New Caladonia but the wife went crook when I mentioned it.:rolleyes:

Can't you buy the company off the "old boy" and run it yourself? Just a thought!

Company is far too big to buy, Cost millions. And requires massive resources to keep afloat.

Tried Air NZ, Fonterra, PowerCo, Cookes-Bridon - any of the big non-ACC paying companies?

There is a couple on that list I haven't tried, Though I have made contact with the big players in Civil, roading and environment which would be more in line with prior experience. Just get deflected off to their recruitment web pages:clap:

Though it is an ongoing process. Ideally I'd like to work for Kiwi Rail/On Track, But the ideal is rarely the reality.
