there's a shop that always emails me special internet deals. I think they're based in Chch they're called vroom.co.nz or motoworks. They had awesome deals on the Airoh helmets a while ago... may be worth a look

I like the look of lots of the 661 helmets. Unfortunately they just don't fit me very well. Its strange. I fit a med fox helmet, but the med 661 just feels wrong.
The small however seems better. Its strange, I've never used a small helmet before.

If you shop around you can get some good deals, but take time to find one that comfortable and reasonable light. I like the Shake helmets - MXR. Not sure where you are, but cycletreads have got some great deals on older models $149 - $290 mark. Also make sure they have the snell dot or similar standard - most do. Good luck.

Have done a meeting with it now and love it. Its light and comfy and looks trick.
I would recommend a 661 for sure

Was in TSS (Wgtn) today and they have a LS2 MX-442 thats under $400 and only 1250g. Thats light. Not as light as the 1000g Airoh's Stelts at $600+ but i could feel the difference between the LS2 and my 1450g helmet. Next helmet is definitely going to be lighter.
Anyone know the weight of the KBC Super-X/Pro-X range? i like the look of them but can't find a weight.
