How about a coordinated nation-wide "Leave your bike at home and take the car to work" Day. Easy to do - everyone who has a bike (even if they normally take the train or bus) leaves their bike at home and goes to work in the car - leave really early (6am-ish) and parks on the street or in a carpark building. This is not suggested as an alternative to a protest ride but as an addition - perhaps a little less confrontational. It will need wide publicity so the sheeple will know why their roads are a bit more clogged and parking spaces harder to find.

Do you want to borrow one of mine?

Yup - I'm paying ACC levies on two cars and a motorbike

And I usually get about by bicycle

I think there's a good deal of merit in this suggestion. I probably wouldn't drive too quick either. (Got to keep it nice and safe)

It isnt gonna work anyway.

Anywhere outside of auckland there arent enough people to have any effect.

And auckland is already fucked so no-ones gonna noticed a few extra hundred cars.
