I have been on the forum for a bit now but did not have a bike until today so I had not formally introduced myself yet.

My name is Beau and as of today I am the proud owner of a 1998 KTM Adventure!

I am keen for rides anywhere as well as journeys. Currently located in Auckland by default but have not committed myself to living here for sure. I am a bouncer right now (also by default [trying to find other flexible work]) but am trying to get into the NZ theatre and film scene.

If anyone wants to ride, whether it be for an afternoon or a week, on the North Island, South Island, or anywhere in the world, hit me up!!!!

hi beau, wellcome to nz and to the world of kiwibiker...im not up that way
but im sure you'll hookup with the locals to ride with...you could start
with the odd short distance sortie out west on your ktm..taking in
woodhill, muriwai beach, helensville, parakai etc then far north or
over to coromandel would be a kick, congrats on your new bike mate
im in the market for something similar myself at the mo...

Howzit Beau - welcome to the site - congrats on getting ur bike :clap: and Goodluck with getting into the theatre n film scene. Heapsa riding groups about the country-wont take long for you to tap into them once you venture southways ;)

Thanks for the welcomes, the congratulations, and the tips! I will hopefully be getting out very soon to explore the North Island and really see what NZ can throw at me and what this bike can take.

If any of you gents make it up this way and are keen to ride, just hit me up! I'm hoping to get down south before too much longer to explore all those roads my car was too scared to tackle when I was down there exploring earlier in the year...:devil2:
