90 mile beach can be a dangerous place. The main thing is the washouts after rain. These invisible canyons in the sand will rip your suspension off and throw you hard!

Do it on your Strom! Main thing is to look well ahead & if in doubt stop & check the sand. You have to be commited getting through the soft sand at the ramps, steady throttle & weight well back. Good call on tides! In places the waves will lap the dunes at high tide so you have to wait until it recedes. A few years ago a mate used to ride his Blackbird up the beach, admittedly he is a nutter. If you do get bogged don't rev like mad & bury it, get off the bike & push/ throttle it out. Take a bit of wood or something so your sidestand does'nt sink into the sand when you stop to take piccies. Go on, have a go!
