Does that come with the 1 1/2" front wheel? I've heard tyres are hard to get for the 1 1/4 wheel.

The model is a 1-12th Triumph Hurricane X-75.
After the British Industry realised it been pwned by Honda, Sochiro. they hired Mr Craig Vetter to design them a Jap beater.
He probably did.
Some of the T160 Triumphs and T140 Bonnevilles outperformed the CB750 on the track - Google 'Slippery Sam Triumph' while you are at it.
Unfortunately the crap castings, oil leaks and Lucas electricals had destroyed the marque's reputation and the Hurricane was too little too late.
It is however one of the iconic motorcycles.
Vetter is coming to NZ next year and I hope to get an interview. Maybe get a line up a few Trumpets and see if he wants to go for a burn. I'll ask anyway.

Tyres are OK. Tubes are a bastid.

I look forward to it :)
Lovely model also.
I would love some kitsets of the Bonnie etc, but no one seems to make them. Only jap bikes mainly, or some no name US cruiser etc.

Revell do a Tiger 100. Bit old school - but not a bad kit. Not Tamiya either IYKWIM.

Nice model - what would really set it off is a couple of drops of WD40 under it ........
There was one of the earlier later (WTF) Triumph triples running around CHCH a few years back with a set of megaphones on the right replicating the Vetter pipes.
