We are arriving from Ireland in Auckland on the 31st Dec Could anyone suggest somewhere to stay and somewhere to go were the crack will be mighty on new years eave. Regards and respect to you all Tomas

The Viaduct is great on New Year.

And if you have loads of cash, Skycity do some spectacular stuff too.

Being summer, there is lots of outdoor stuff to choose from too.

It all depends upon the type of entertainment you are looking for.

I'd book your accomodation before you arrive, if I were you.

DEFINITELY book accomodation prior to arriving - its PEAK/holiday time when you arrive (leave it too late to book, then you may have to search outside of Auks etc). Use GOOGLE to search for accomodation in Auckland (motels,backpackers,B n Bs) Goodluck with your searching :whistle:
