Looking for someone to ride with in the Nelson area until I get a little more confidence. I have a gn250 and still learning to ride. I am able to ride from Motueka to Nelson on my own but still only going approx 80km's in the corners.

Be patient ... take your time. Just a matter of time on the road to gain a little confidence.
IT WILL COME ...

Can't be there to help in person but...
After a ride - do you find any body parts get sore or are tense? If so - you need to relax these areas. I used to tense up my arms going into the corners, rather than let the bike corner with a positive grip (not a death grip).
Remember not to fight leaning with your bike in the corners (that is try and stay upright - lean with the bike instead).
Thirdly - always keep your head up and look through the corner where you exit (the vanishing point).
Slowly increase your speed - no rush to do that and 80kph is fine.

Dont worry, confidence will come as you clock up the kays. Myself I never feel confident and I've ridden for years, I prefer that to overconfident and crashing. :scooter:
