I've been home from Wellington for sometime now and I'm still buzzing.
Through the years I've been on 11 Westpac charity rides. I think the biggest was around 1500 bikes. I thought that was huge. Well, today was an eye opener. What I saw today was simply f..kin awesome!
To all those that had a part in organising that... take a bow. You rock! Fantastic job and to all those that took part ... f..kin well done. Thousands of bikes and hardly any dickheads to be seen. I feel honoured to have been part of that. Good on ya's!!!:2thumbsup:Punk:

I wholeheartedly agree Mark... This has to go down in history as the Biggest Motorcycling Event ever in New Zealand and all credit for the exceptional behaviour and comaraderie amongst all Biker Groups. Awesome, it certainly was. I can only describe it as an absolute buzz to have been there and taken part. Proud to be a KiwiBiker... you bet your arse!
The message given loud and clear to the Minister and indeed all Polititions was;
DONT MESS WITH BIKERS

What they said. What a day. Whoo whooo. Now back to work and hope the polys take note or we will be back and will be kicking rubbish bins next time.
Cheers all and was great to catch up with the locals and so many others as the day unfolded yesterday.

THAT was awsome!
Yep, counted approx 100 bikes at the P-G arena.
What REALLY blew me away was when we were in Levin at the New World parking. I was there for approx an hour and in that time there was a CONSTANT ride past of bikes on SH1. Not one and one but staggered riders. Not a gap, they just kept coming. If someone has a video of this, a one hour + of bikes riding to the Beehive, then if that does not get the Nats re-thinking then nothing will!

Well done HB!
You did us proud!
History was made yesterday and we were a part of it!
Remember though, this is just the beginning...we need to keep up our profile and activity!
I was interviewed last night by Radio NZ, they wish to be informed of any local events we are planning....
Ideas are most welcome

Big thanks to the people that were able to ride down and provide a strong showing. Would imagine that the ratio of actuals to wannabes/unable tos would be around 1 in 10. Thanks again.

Not heard that. 2 did near Wanganui. Learner made a silly mistake and took out another rider. It's not been big news though.

I will have to check the details with my friend (John) when I see him again. But he does ride a Harley.

Apperently god also rides a Harley, so I take that they have a way of finding out the truth...
