With demonoid being down for maintainance for a considerable time, has anyone got any advice for a safe and virus free download site I could use in the meantime? Thanks.

Do you want public sites (anyone can sign up, generally no ratio, generally lots of fakes, viruses etc).
Or do you want private trackers (invite only, ratio'd, generally very fast speeds and only good content)

I use www.iptorrents.com mostly, its private and ratio'd but the quality of content is great.

Do try VUZe (that is to be downloaded) where you can find a large community and a lot of torrents coming from several websites includng bittorrent,minova....
I do and I'm quite content with it.
