i need to buy or borrow someones repair manual for my 2008 ktm 300 exc, i just finished replacing the fork seals in my forks but it dont know the amount of oil to put back into the inner chamber or the outer cartridge, and the local bike shop arent helping at all. can anyone help?

yea ive already got the owners manual, i need the actual workshop manual that comes on the cd when you buy a new bike.

i just wanna fill my forks up and go riding:(

PS I have the earlier model Engine manual and a proper owners manual for my 08 but the proper workshop manual would be great!!

Cause they are gay.... Ask on thumpertalk for the manual, and the oil measurement.

no joy at all

Aren't they from the same country as Bruno?? Unless your bike is a 07 kx250f with a black number board and broken plastics, it's gay unfortunatly.

just rang the service manager at my local bike shop. phone calls are free:2thumbsup

gotta do a piston soon so im still looking for a manual.

I'm looking to get a new 300 shortly...will I actually get a proper repair manual with it? or just the lightweight owners manual? My Yamaha manual is pretty detailed with most if not all repair tasks covered.

hey, I've only recently come online to the forum, so I'm coming to this post a bit late, but you should have a look at cyclepaedia online manuals. They're pretty cool. You can subscribe for a year or whatever and they're worth it, Really well illustrated. I've been using it for a while. This is the link to the KTM manuals info page:
