the Top 5 sports new and active claims total $130-140 million for 2007-2008.
Motorcyclists total $62 million (so they tell us). By my reckoning ACC are looking to recoup about 2/3 of the total, i.e. an average of approx $400 per bike x approx 100,000 bikes = $40 million.:buggerd:
By the same token then should the sporting bodies of NZ, e.g. NZRFU, NZRL, Soccer NZ et al, be paying $90 million in ACC levies between them to cover this?:dodge:
