is it just me, or do they almost all look like grouchy old geezers? just watched the guy from acc on close up, and he looked really crabby. the same goes for the finance people they use when talking about the stock market etc even when its good news.
are they all under so much stress that they have permanent grump lines or what?

Nah - depending on your job a suit is just a work uniform, same as a set of overalls are for a mechanic, g-string for a stripper etc
There are grumpy bastards in every type of work regardless what they are wearing.

I agree with this .... I think often it seen more obviously when you wear a suit that you are a grumpy old prick! More acceptable when blue collar - because you have a "tough" job sometimes.

Not sure whether you intentionally spelt that wrong to appear Australian, but good spelling and grammar is paramount in New Zealand.
The word is defendant.
