Can I start now for 2011? I can go for a week with out needing a shave. It takes a month just to get 5 oclock shadow. Even then it's just light shadow, slightly gingery actually.

I'll join though. Can't guarantee the whole month though, work is pretty strict on facial hair.

Presumably one would have to remove one's current effort prior to 1 Movember?

Bikers are showing the lack of ability to MAN up to the cause,

Bikers portray themselves as men, blokes of the world as it were, capable of conquering the un conquerable, challenging roads and race tracks where normal mere males fear to tread. Sadly these Manly Males dont appear to frequent the pages of www.kiwibiker.co.nz INSTEAD we have here a bunch of wimpy little mummy boys struggling to even conquer puberty...........a challenge not even reached by those of you over 20 !!!

All above applies to every bloke on this site with the exemption of

Brent Hutchison
Bret Glazer
Gareth Davies
Jimmy Mair
karl Berquist
Sea Gerbil
Vince Lovrich

What dont agree ???

THINK YA GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A BLOKE ????

Then click here (http://nz.movember.com/mospace/) and join us..........THE MEN OF KB

JOIN MO-BIKERS

Worst thing about the Hitler, is that it ends up just looking like excessive nose hair growth...

speaking of the cause, I wonder what the proportion of men who go get checked, to men who grow a mo is?

Likewise. I've had one since 1970. Shaved it off once, back in the nineties, when someone told me it was seriously uncool to have facial hair. I must have been an impressionable sort when I was young. Anyway the smooth look lasted a week before I realized my mistake. A mo is as you say a commitment for life.

hey guys, my understanding (which is usaualy bent a wonkey) of movember was simply, every guy grows a mo for the month of november, to raise awareness of cancer and depression in men.

after asking a friend why he wasnt doing movember, he said he didnt have sponsors. and I was like wtf?

so then I looked it up and you gota register and get donatations and stuff.

question..

How many people grow the mo anyway. or is it silly to grow the mo unless your all registered up. Mines looking a bit fluffy, and if it doesnt count because I am not registered/getting donations I will chop it off!

thanks

I went to register

But the first querstruon they ask is...

"Are you:
A man who wants to grow a Mo to raise awareness and funds for men's health"

which I decided was a load of modern pc market speak bollix, and which I could not, in all honesty, answer

So I didn't

Rodney007

a recent study by Sociologists at the University of Auckland has found that only 1% of NZ women like men with facial hair

unsurprisingly, the study also discovered that LESS than 1% of Kiwi men like Uppity bitches

Magnum PI had a mo, and I've seen a few studs brushing their mo's in the mirror

Maybe that was before

Modern sexy guys in the media are often unshaven but short

I like tall women

Bikers are showing the lack of ability to MAN up to the cause... etc etc...

My kids asked me NOT to shave me face wire off.

They trump all my peers.
