I donno if any other poms have been following this over the last few days, with regards to the BNP leader Mr. Griffin being invited onto a BBC political debate program due to the fact they have enough support and seats on the EU parliament to do so.

I'm off the view they/he should have their say regardless of their viewpoint.

If some it were some raghead party instead you'd imagine the uproar if the BBC didn't invite them......

I agree. That is a thing called "free speech". Unfortunately this type of person is exactly who will use "free speech" to appear on BBC and then curb it while they're in power. Uhmm...wait...sorry...that would be all politicians.

He should be allowed on.

The more he's on TV, the more of a following they get. The more of a following they get, the more the big parties will have to pull their collective fingers out of their arses and start appealing to real people again.
If the main parties hadn't fucked up, there'd be no reason for the BNP to exist.

Agreed. BNP is a reaction to [primarily] the flow of unsolicited individuals emigrating from eastern European countries.

The poms feel like strangers in their own land, and have to fight with cheap labour that effectively prostitutes itself at the cost of the locals. The European union is pretty much to blame, [and the short sighted English government].

Winston Peters believes the same thing could happen in NZ; I disagree. While our immigration policy is far from perfect, individuals coming into NZ have some serious vetting to go through before being granted access.......

Watch out for a paper coming out early next year from a Massey University lecturer and author called Dr Gregg Clydesdale; his research will blow the lid on immigration into NZ and pose serious questions about the usefulness of our current immigration policy.

SPB pretty much has summed it up.

The current government has forgotten to local white lads. Where else do they turn to? Even the tories don't give a fuck.
