Hi everyone,
Was driving the cage with the Mrs today and noticed a big congregation of HD riders outside the Jolly Farmer in Drury. There would have been somewhere between 50-100 in the parking lot (it's usually a parking lot for stock trucks so there is a lot of room for bikers) but I didn't see any patches, just A lot of guys and girls on shiny HDs and cruisers, even saw a few Jappa bikes in there too.
When I got home I checked the 'net and found that there was some organised action in Nelson http://tvnz.co.nz/national-news/bikers-show-acc-rage-in-nelson-3092149 and I was wondering if this was connected somehow.
Does anyone know about the meet-up in Drury today? Was it part of an Auckland ACC protest ride?
I've been trying to keep an eye out for these rides but couldn't find anything on this site.
I've attached a crappy cellphone-photo of the group, unfortunately it doesn't really show the numbers of bikers properly, it's a drive by from an old phone, the Mrs wouldn't let me stop :)
