was in Greytown for a Funeral last weekend and went over the rimutaka rd (obviously) that fence wont stop much

Yep, we made it over minutes before, the guys who were 5 minutes late and going to catch up in Feathers didn't.

I looked at the pic in todays stuff and that piece of road is very familiar ... it looks close to the corner that Grub had an off on a few years ago ... it had shit on the corner (small rocks) ... the fence stopped him well ... him and the bike were caught by it (not by a lot though).

Our group didn't make it either. Disappointment at first but then it made for an excellent change of plan. Up SH1, across the Pahiatua Track , back down SH2 and over the hill. Awesome day's riding.
