A couple of hours ago I was squatting down wrenching off my oil filter when my 5yo daughter bowls on in to the garage.
I could see the 5yo thought processes happening normally present before they make some revelation or another about life. Sure enough she pipes up with the question:

"Daddy, why are you milking your bike?"

Ah the innocence of it!

Kids come out with the coolest things.

I'd be a bit worried if that old oil was white :laugh::laugh:

 kids are great eh...sometimes you cringe and sometimes you laugh at the gems that come out of their little mouths.

Our landlord came by today to do the routine-ish house inspection. We were about 10 minutes in when he made the comment that they were talking too much - of course this actually meant no one was listening to him  THEN he figured out I wasn't going to put the DVD he had just asked for on for until they were gone...which wasn't going to be long anyway so he looks at them and says - can you leave now please...thankfully she just laughed and didn't take offense.

Last week we were having a wee grumble at each other and he up and says "sheesh I don't why I put up with this!" to which I just couldn't help replying in fits of giggles "Tell me about it son I ask myself the same thing sometimes!"

Ahhh out of the mouths of babes eh ;)
