Best place for sprockets and chains?

The FZR has quite a tight spot in the chain so might aswell get a new one.
The sprockets aren't worn excessively but I do think it should be changed as a set on a high powered bike..

Bits4bikes has a sprocket and chain set with a 530 chain (532 stock), which as far as I have heard is quite a common mod.

Is the price of $313 for the sprocket and chain kit good or nah?

On that page it also sells sprockets and chains separately, when adding them up it comes out cheaper than the set, shouldn't it be cheaper to buy a set of chains and sprockets?

Vortex 520 conversion 16/49 is the way to go.Its the max acceleration kit.Knocks 15kmph off the top but gives you awesome drive.Weighs 2kg less than stock 532 set up.

Best price or best chain and sprockets? DID easily make the best chain and if you match to the highest quality sprockets such as JT or Renthal, Afam. The precision of cut on many cheaper sprockets is not so good and that seriously shortens chain life. Darbi Acessories are the NZ distributor.
When you buy a top range DID chain you can be assure that its not made in a mainland Asian sweatshop that cares little about quality and longevity.

I like my vortex kit with RK 520wring as per link above.The guys on fzronline have been getting high kms but exact figures depends on care and lube in preportion to hammer factor.The only failures that I have heard about is from those who changed their FZR to convert vfr single swinger and didnt line it up correctly.Now that they discovered a inverted ninja front sproket gives them exact straight line on sprockets they have had no problems since.
CNC cutting on the rear ally sprocket seems to have been very well done.

Renthal and did good options.Just stay away from no name cost savers.

That depends on who is pi..ing in who's pocket. When you take commercial loyalty and price out of the equation DID chain is the very very best.

Not fussed about the top speed, haven't bothered goping past 200 naked anyway

When fitting them....
Torque for the rear bolts?

Use a rattle gun for front I assume and torque it back up? what to?
