The Hunua electorate MP, Paul Hutchison, is holding a Politics & Pizza night in Pukekohe. Paula Bennett is the guest speaker and it is open to the general public. Details below:

Date: Friday 13th November 2009
Time: 5:30pm
Venue: The Anglican Church Hall
Cnr Queen St & Wesley St
Pukekohe

This is a great chance for those in the area that haven't already spoken (harrassed?) their MP to do so as he will be there in person.

Hope to see as many that can make it there

I'll be there.:Punk:

If you can, please edit your calendar entry so that people can indicate whether or not they're going to attend. Would be good to see how much of an impact we are going to have.

Give Paula Bennett a slap for me, would you. I can't stand that smug self-satisfied smirk she wields.

He was their ACC spokesspoke when they were in opposition. So he's a legitimate target

We got to box a wee bit cautious but.

National party is legitimate targets.

But this is a local meeting, there'll be local dudes who have come along cos they want to ask a question or hear something.

If I was said dudes, I'd be pissed off if a bunch of randoms who had nothing to do with the electorate bowled in and took over.

Would be much better if we could find someone who lives in the electorate . He can say "I'm one of your constituents , and I voted for you last time, but I won't be next time because ... ".

Started up a twitter account so that we can post things like this there too.

Took the liberty of posting this one today.

I'll be there if I'm not working. Most of the locals will be interrogating him about the Gubmint ignoring 85% of Franklin's residents who said no to the supercity.

The producer of the ZM afternoon show is from Puke, and his co-host is a biker, just tweeted him to let him know about the Pizza night

I have sent out an email to TOMCC Franklin members and many of them have indicated they will be attending.
