Overflow pipe? Hmmm

G'day
Got an 89 ZXR250a with a sneaky pipe looking for a home.
I gather its an overflow pipe of some sort? but not too sure where its male partner lives.
Ive had a bit of a look but nothing jumped out at me.
Thought someone with a zxr out there might be able to tell me straight off and save me taking all the plastics off 'n on.

It'll be one of either battery, coolant reservoir, tank filler cap surround drain or air box. Length should give it away i.e. where it reaches to...
