Sounds like there are a few rides planned - so be good. The more times the bikers embark on Parliament the better

Pretty good turn-out in Welly too. I reckon far more bikes than the 400 mentioned in the news articles.
The noise of that many bikes in the city is just awesome.

I think it was more like 1000 bikes in Auckland and not up to 500 as stated.

We had 480 counted in about 5 to 11. But a lot arrived a bit after 11 (as always)

Hey, we had a good turnout in Timaru today! (well, "I" was impressed!)

Cant post any pics because I am not on my own computer!

Don't know any stats either but we did have a good turn out. (never noticed before, how much we all look the same!)

They are saying we pulled in over 400 bikes, it was an awesome ride. My best memory was the young girl holding up the "we support you" sign.

So that's a conservative 2350 bikers attending Saturday's protest rides - bit of a message I would say.

That does look like a mighty impressive turnout in Timaru. How many people live in and around Timaru compared to Wellington or Auckland.
Very well done I say. Big thumbs up.:2thumbsup

We only have 26000 residents, but we had quite a few from out of town particularly a big contingent from Oamaru (still no where near the population of the main centres). I think the organisers were as suprised as we were.

I saw riders (that I know) from Dunedin and Christchurch there as well and quite a few of us who live on the outskirts turned up!

If you get it check out the pics in the High Country Herald, so much better than the one in the Timaru Herald on Monday. Particularly the one taken at the lights on King Street, Showed it to a mate of the missus tonight and she's thinking about buying another bike now.
