Gotta love it when a person selling something tells you to go for it and buy else where ! !
Makes you wonder if they have anything to sell in the 1st place.

I thought you did all your riding in a straight line Steve, all over in a quater mile and all that.
These tyres are designed for going round corners, prob not your cup of tea ;)

Fit a nice fat car tyre for this activity - it will last a lot longer.

Always the same, a day late and a few cents short!
I wanted PP2CT's but could not get any so went with Pilot Road2CT. (On Yam GTS1000)
PR2CT is still a good tyre but PP2CT are unbeleivable. I use em exclusively on my Busa and pay a smidge under $650.00 au per set.
I also have Shinko's on a GTS650F that cost $300 fitted. They are OK tyres but you can see why they are cheap..
Always makes me smile whem ppl (who have no idea) chime in with "I can get brand X at half the price" We don't all want the cheapest available items..
And besides...I don't think a 190 tyre will fit on your "Pagsta" Steve!

PR2ct 190 $309 fitted Pitlane Ch Ch,
So a PP2ct $300 gotta be good ?

Yeah your right corners arnt my cuppa tea, but even me an Obese Man on some tight twisties on a 600 twin with badly worn shinkos and some of the elite Kbs are crashing trying to keep up.
So I guess also Tony Rees dosnt like corners either ?

Hi speed in a straight line eh!
well thats shut me up hasn't it!
I got nothing against shinko's, I have heard good and bad reports on em, and that is why I tried them for myself.
They are an adequate tyre and would be acceptable for any sensible road rider.
Their wet performance is not vey good, but there are far worse bits of road than the tyre, if you try and use the PP2CT's claimed 45deg wet lean angle on the road...your going down! Oil spots, deisel spills, white paint and overbanding don't care how expensive your tyres are!
My research has found however that the most expensive tyres I can get cost 13c per kilometer to use.
Paintwork and fairing damage resulting from using cheap tyres is $1500 per metre....
I've had 2 offs due to shit tyres (Continental), one of them in front of a good sized audience (that sucks) so I'll stick with he tyres that I trust to stick to the road.
I Use PP2CT on the track on my Busa and find them as good as slicks, better sometimes as they give excellent feedback.
I love em!
Pilot roads are a better choice (really) for the GTS that I have in NZ co it is heavy, near 300kg plus Luggage and me (Fatty) and The little lady. When I got it it had old hard Conti's on. Replaced with PP2CT which were cactus only 21 days later (NZ has the best roads!)
Cycletreads did not have any 2CT Powers so I opted for Roads in lieu, so far so good.
