Hey Gals!!
As most of you know there is an article in the process of being written about Gal bike riders in Christchurch.
We are now at the point of having the press photographer come out to take photos.
So the lunch run for Monday the 9th of November is a go ahead.
Meeting at the Burger King car-park in Moorhouse ave at 10.00 am for a 10.30 departure. Riding up and over dyers pass around the bays to Lyttelton for a latte stop.
Then on over Evans pass down into Sumner with the lunch happening at the Speights Alehouse in Ferry road between 12 and 2.
There are a few of you who can't ride due to other commitments but have said you would come for lunch on your bikes.
This was planned in such a way that we could get as many gal's together at once. The carpark at the Speights is big enough on a Monday to accommodate a line up. The photographer seems to want a shot from a scenic spot though so once I've spoken to him I will know if we are taking one at the top of dyers or at the evans pass carpark..
See you next week and drop me a pm if ya think you can make it......
cheers

Great stuff!!!
If any of you are coming up to the ACC protest rally on the 17th and have the weekend before free, feel welcome to rock up to the WIMA rally - directions www.wima.org.nz - to meet some of the girls (all riders welcome, female, male, young, old...).

Remember too - submissions to ACC close tomorrow 5.00pm. www.bikersagainstacc.org.nz can help with what to do and points, but mostly make your own personal pleas with examples! And can some of you make the environmental benefits of motorcycling points too :-)

Finally got a response from the photographer!!! Jeeeeesssssss
Anyway this is to hard to co-ordinate and the weather isn't that bad. So 10.00 am girls at the BK carpark.
We will pootle over the hill but apparently they want a "scenic" shot which is a real shame for those who are coming to lunch on their bikes.
gonna try and twist their arm to take one at lunch as well.

It ain't that wet but just might be as we head over the hill..

Gears is on and all systems go!!!!! :sweatdrop:sweatdrop:wari::wari:

Well I have to say that was a great wee ride! Ok, I know I piked and went through the tunnel, but the wind in the hills got me! Although doing the *coughs* speed limit the blast from the trucks just about knocked me over! thankfully having done it all before I got through!

SDU, thank you for sticking with me at the bottom of Dyers Pass. And it was great to see all you lovely ladies again and see a couple of new faces!

Fingers crossed the pics turned out ok!??
