Well, the young fella had his eye on a nice looking GS500 on trade me. Seller had a price listed and said he was prepared to do a trade with cash difference.
Spoke to the chap this afternoon and he sounded very interested in doing a trade with our ginny, and the price we were after for it. No mention of......dah-dah-dah-du-daaaaaaahhhhhhhh......(sinister sounding music effect)..... change of details in the ad.
We looked again tonight and Balu noticed an extra weeny detail that hadn't been in the ad 2 nights ago when we printed it off...all of a sudden the price that he had listed for it was changed to "cash price" and there was a new figure of what he wanted for it if there was a trade involved.
Hmmmm. Texted him back and said "your ad has changed, not interested now".
I guess sellers have the right to alter their ads as they see fit, but it was really disappointing in that RR had enough $ to cover the difference as the price stood originally in the ad, but now he's nowhere near what would be needed.
