All sorts, plenty of Euro brands but even Yamaha made one - the venerable old FS1E (see pic)
I think it was something to do with getting around licensing or something, as now moped seems to apply to what are basically (even more?)underpowered scooters.

Who cares if the scooter forum is slightly higher or slightly lower on a computer screen? I personally cant get to hung up on it.
Probably the only reason there is any forum here at all is because there are one or two bikers who use scoots for around town work.

Me, jeez you wouldn't want to get too close to those "dress up like a tube of toothpaste" types...

You'll always find me in the kitchen at parties.

Funny story.. chatting to a lad the other day that lives in Chch - who owns a scooter.
Some munter was round his house for some reason (also owns a scooter - but one of the homo two tone things with all the gay shit bolted on it). Standing in the garage, next to a rack of protective clothing, he said "What sort of parka have you got then?"
He was serious!!!

Now there is an opportunity, invent the armoured parka. In fact it could be called the "code zero parka", adding windage therefore speed, in a tail wind.

It's surely only a matter of time until these sorts join the Sealed Knot Society and do re-enactments of Brighton 1964...

They'd better hurry up. Most of them haven't got long left.

Thank fuck.
