ACC have really fucked up with bikers...

Like we protest by doing what we love... going for a putt on our bikes...

Its gonna be real hard to keep bikers doing that lol

Remember to send out a viral text to all your bike-riding contacts! We found (in Auckland) it worked really well to send one out the night before saying something like:

We need 100 bikes tomorrow! Protest ACC levy rises. Leave Mosgiel Railway Satation 10am, arrive Octagon 11am. Make lots of noise. All welcome. Invite your friends.

Or whatever details make sense. The call for 100 bikes seemed to push a few buttons for people - they all want to be part of the 100! In the end we got 60ish on a showery day in Auckland with 12 hours notice so we thought we did pretty well.

Just hope like hell there no idiotic dickheads acting like fools for any media to lock on too

So if you are coming on this run... no wheelies or anything... remember we are trying to get the public on our side and not make them say thats why ACC should go up...

There were 575 bikes... not bad since the orginal few at the BRONZ meeting was only 30...

the power of modern communitcation... sad thing is its the only time car drivers see bikes is when they are in a big group...

You didn't see the idiot in the Ford Falcon at Moray Place? If he couldn't get through the bikers, he thought he might just go over them instead...:gob:

An amazing turnout, for a little-advertised event.

My sister alerted me to the coverage. Great to see my home town getting some coverage! A good story covering the other 2 rides in Akld & ChCh too.
