Join the club dude (although I do get to ride 15 minutes to work a day). Will just make you appreciate the rides you do get that much more.

i'm also a terrace dweller and i know what you mean about walking to work. sometimes i ride the 3 minutes anyway. riding through town sucks!! traffic lights everywhere and i never get out of 2nd gear. i have to make up excuses to head out to the hutt and get past 30kms. doesn't help either when you get stuck behind a grandma going round the bays at 20kms. i have to pull up and wait 10 minutes so i can practice my countersteering at a reasonable pace. the good news is my slow speed riding is great.

Because an R1 sitting in a garage never getting ridden is a lot cooler than having a 250 sitting there doing the same.

Ok so it actually is. :shifty:

it's a really nice ride considering that it's in the middle of the city, road is hardly used at commuter times, more over the weekend. There are a few nice corners around it and while it's still only a 50 area you can have some fun perfecting your lines ;)
