Hey Guys, just a quick one as far as a report goes.

Got up to Taupo Saturday and watched the Post Classic meeting and set up my pit with the "wolf pack" in the afternoon.
Quiet night a couple of beers and some good Company eating fish n chips :)

Qualified 14th in F1
Qualified 14th in F2

R1 F1
Got off to a good start and managed to overtake Shane Tunnicliffe when he nearly highsided coming onto the back straight the race was red flagged and i was in 10th
Race was restarted and i to get infront of Keelim and Shane T, i kept getting held up by Glen Tanner on his R1 in the infield and even tho i did better laps i could not get past him and finished a respectable 8th with a best lap time of 1:14.153

R1 F2 Some how i got infront of Craig Frethy and then Lee Bradford, Craig eventually overtook me a few laps later and Lee almost highsided out of turn one he seemed to lose momentum after that but he had been all over my arse, i got a 10th Place with a best lap time of 1:14.382

R2 F1 Got infront of Keelim and Shane T but again i got caught behind Glen Tanner, his R1 had the legs but i had to keep breaking to stop from hitting him in the infield very frustrating with a 9th place finish and a best lap of 1:13.809 which was my best lap of the day.

R2 F2 I fought really hard to stay behind Keelim until he/we were beginning to catch Marcus, Keelim managed to tag onto Marcus but i just couldnt keep up the pace, i came in 8th but was awarded 7th when the officials penalised Marcus for a jump start, My best lap was 1:14.590.

The short track times at Taupo are similar to the normal Manfield track times and i found that this was a good way to gauge what a good time was.
At the end of the day i was quite happy to have come into the first round with 4 top 10 placings and an overall placing of 8th in Superbikes and 8th in Supersport for the Championship at this point :)

Thanks again to my sponsers look forward to seeing you all at the first round of the Tri Series at Manfield on the 19th December.

Cheers.

Thanks for the pic's mate ive been working on my body position on the bike as i tend to throw my upper body right "out there" but now im trying to get off the seat, but keep my body low and parallel to the middle of the machine, this settles the bike a bit better and helps the center of gravity.
I can see from the photos im getting there slowly.
